Check these websites often for opportunities to volunteer or donate.
If you would like to help, please donate to Occupy: Sandy Relief NYC.
**Note: Occupy Sandy are working with not just Rockaway, but are a huge force with the hard hit areas of Staten Island, Red Hook, LES and Coney also.
Donation Drop-Offs
Several organizations operate drop-off points for donated items. Needs change, so it's advisable to get in contact with someone at the drop-off point to see what's needed before making the trip.

Ace Hotel Hurricane Sandy Relief
There are ample opportunities to donate time and resources to help New Yorkers still recovering from the damage done by Hurricane Sandy, from the Rockaways to Coney Island, Staten to Breezy Point or from where you are right this moment.
We support efforts by our guests, visitors and Ace family to give their time to help in whatever way they can and we’re glad to help facilitate those efforts. If you’re visiting or planning to visit New York and you’d like to volunteer, we recommend packing some warm clothing and waterproof gloves and boots. This page is a (by no means complete) key to some of the places and organizations that may well need your help if you can give it. We recommend prospective volunteers get in touch with an organization the day prior to getting out there and doing what you can. There are also many worthy causes worth donating to. We’ve listed some that are near to our hearts. If you feel your organization should be included here, feel free to drop us a line.
We’ve also got some Ace-designed goods to benefit those in need in the works, coming soon.
